Match 5​

Next we are going to chill out with "Zamboni" from Ice Hockey. Its by Soyo Oka, who would go onto do the first Mario Kart game. Against it is "Final Point: Center of the Planet Bydo" from R-Type Final 2. Its by Yuki Iwai, who also did the music for the original Marvel Super Heroes fighting game.

Match 6​


First we start up "Uranus" from Titan Warriors. Its by Harumi Fujita but based on her Wikipedia page... I guess this game never came out. Anyway, it's going up against "Yearn to Bloom - Aeldra's Theme" from Ikenfell. This is from youtuber Adriana Figueroa and electronic duo aivi & surasshu, known for their work on Steven Universe.

R-Type Final 2 just barely scrapes through in its bullet hell and Titan Warriors glides through pretty easily. A win for shoot em ups. Though I guess you could call hockey a shoot em up. So one loss in there.

Match 7​

Next is "Natalie" from Front Mission. This one is by Noriko Matsueda, who also did Final Fantasy X-2 and the Bouncer with Takahito Eguchi. It's going against "Your Rain" from Silent Hill 4. This is by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, who actually won an award for her work on Naruto.

Match 8​

Next is a JRPG match up! First is "City of Flickering Destruction" from the Legend of Mana by Yoko Shimomura. The Legend of Mana is one of Yoko's work for Square Enix, a company she used to work exclusively for and still works with since going freelance. Against it is "T-elos" from Xenosaga Ep. 3 by Yuki Kaijura. Yuki did a few games but this was her last major one before sticking with her primary career: anime series soundtracks.

I doubt it. If I only mention a vote for one track it doesn't mean the other pair wasn't considered but that no significant preference resulted between them, and thus no vote.
