You know, without the shark, Jaws would be a pretty boring movie.

Crashing through the sky, with a fearful cry this week is Dokapon Kingdom! A remake of the original Dokapon Kingdom which apparently came out on the Wii? I don't remember it existing, but I *definitely* heard the name before. It's a mash-up of the RPG and Board game which, one could argue, is basically what an RPG is anyway, but this one has dice rolls in a more obvious Pop-a-Matic Trouble context.

Use *rampant gambling* to facilitate building up an adventurin' hero and use them to TROUNCE EVIL and save the candylands of Dokapon from scoundrals and ne'erdowells. It may be the most Friendship Ruining game this week!

And, yes, there's another Zeldo coming out this week, and yes, it's *technically* a massively anticipated game, and sure, *maybe* it's a video game that's already made, but, you know what? Maybe you want a Zeldo game that you don't have to *wait* for? Maybe you want one that's kind of passed under the radar, and where you have to build it yourself as it's basically Legend of Zelda Maker? WELL GUESS FRIGGIN' WHAT; Super Dungeon Maker is that! And It'd easily be my Most Excited About game of the week except that... two others outrank it.

SORRY SUPER DUNGEON MAKER, I'm still really likely to pick you up on the grounds that you look super chamring and fun and it gives me Infinite Zeldas, however, so that's a nice consolation prize.

Next up is the runner up for my Most Jazzed About video game; the sequel to the release with the most *absolutely severe* swerves in terms of tone and content; Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2. Once again take a team of adorable varmint tykes as they're forced to do just a *l'il bit* of war crimes and sacrifice their lives to use their souls as artillery to stop varmint nazis from doing their own, much more overt war crimes.

The trailer is at least pretty up front with the fact that "Yo, this game is *GRIM AS HELL*" as opposed to letting it come as a surprise, so that was nice of them.

Speaking of sequels; The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the sequel to Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I'm sure it'll be a hum-dinger.

Thinks it's kind of rude to release a video game with a title like that while we're all still grieving the death of Queen Elizabeth; TOO SOON, NINTENDO, TOO SOON!

I guess that's everything.

Since my spouse and I are sharing a copy of Zelda and he gets first crack I will likely be hitting this game hard as I'm very excited for it. Also it's on Gamepass and I just got another cheap code for that recently which is awesome.

I fired the first one back up, since I didn’t finish it.

not… perhaps… the best thing to play immediately after watching Guardians of the Galaxy 3
