Yomawari: Midnight Shadows?
That's the one!
1) Tutorials are bad news The Yomawari games use their tutorials as effective story-telling tools.
The tutorial where you control Yui has her hang herself once everything is in position. This tutorial returns in the endgame when Malice tries to get Haru to hang herself too.
2) Quiet in the library! The ghosts in the library do not like loud noises and will murder you if you set them off.
3) "Human" sacrifice Mr. Kotowari must either kill a human or destroy a human-shaped offering like a doll or a dogu to be appeased.
4) Haunted mansion You explore one.
5) One-hit kill Haru dies in one hit from any hostile yo-kai. Black screen, big splash of blood.
6) Yo-kai Watch Various Japanese spirits of all kinds are all around the town at night.
7) Farewell to arms Sometimes severed arms show up out of nowhere, and Haru collects a few from objects dismembered by Mr. Kotowari to use as charms.
In the endgame, Mr. Kotowari severs Haru's left arm to free her from the undestroyable strings of fate that threaten to corrupt Yui's spirit and drag her to the afterlife with her.
