I am fascinated by the film Ghost Cat Anzu from a technical perspective. Filmed an entire live action film then animated it.
I haven't used Twitter for a while so hoping the link behaves but one of the animators confirmed it's rotoscope and on the 2s and 3s which is unusual. And also obviously it's a cartoony style and one guy is a giant cat instead of a human so there's some fussing about if it's technically rotoscoped or not but whatever.

Interstella 5555 has been remastered and is in theaters tonight only. We found out about it basically just now and won't be able to sit together. I normally avoid movies this time of year but this is such a bizarre cool thing we're going to mask up and take the risk.
