I don't know how I watched this, but Dark Web: Cicada 3301 is a terrible movie. I think I watched it with friends a few weeks ago.
It pays lip service to the original mystery and then butchers it with this "evil cabal" stuff. The plot is nonsensical and the dialogue is baffling. There's a large comedic aspect, but the jokes aren't good! Nothing is taken seriously in this movie, so I won't take this movie seriously.
If it's so bad that you forget about it until weeks after, then it's a 1/10 in my eyes.
