Naming comic characters on sight...

can stop, will stop
That's the Lagomorph. He's a lagomorph!

How about this?

That's the You Tuber trying to go viral again with another one of their hot takes.

Now who is this and why do they disagree with the Sensible-Sized Cape Avenger?

That's Mustard Stain! Fighting to ensure no one ever again washes their whites with condiments or bleedable colors. A nobel cause if not a very heroic one.

Who is this again?

Summon for hire
I mean, that’s obviously Johnny Sort-of-Unusual. He just told you.

But who’s this and what is he compensating for?

That's the decidedly mean Mr. Mustard. Hence the gas mask, and the yellow.

For real though who is this?

Also I think there was a slight hiccup and this was unaddressed:
The Belt Leg, the man with a belt on his leg. To keep his pants up.

Where did this come from?

That's one of those robots from Super Metroid's wrecked ship, courtesy of an obscure prequel comic!

Come on! Everyone knows the Ninja Turtles! That's Jennika, the new one. This guy though? Something super obscure.

Na na na na - it's Bat-Mask!

But now who's this well-accessoried phellow who likes big books?

That's Lil' 'Lock! The teensiest warlock! Honestly has really scary magic, but is frequently defeated by people like putting an upside down mug over them.

Who's this though?

Exposition Owl

more posts about buildings and food
That's Bone-dolier, the undead, machine-gun-wielding ne'er-do-well from the Wild West!

But who's this?

Power is fleeting, love is eternal
As the logo on his chest implies, that's the Distinguished Competition! No idea why he's got shoulder-fists though.

But who's this?

That's Why Wings. He has a very straightforward transformation into a car except it leaves these big obtrusive wings in an awkward position blocking the windshield.

Which guy was this again though? The 90s were certainly a time.

Arm Candy
Well, he said it himself; that's That Jerk Shnook. Quite a guy, That Jerk.

Who's this, though?

As it says when she's introduced in the Rambo animated series, "a master of disguise called K.A.T." And in that first panel of course we see her civilian identity, Olivia Newton-John.

This has me stumped though. See all I can find is these weird black and white photocopies.

That's artwork of Shizumaru Hisame / Hisame Shizumaru from the Samurai Shodown series. It was posted on the Twitter of artist Eiji Shiroi who did a lot of print artwork for the series. It's interesting that she went with an older look and a casual & peaceful setting for the character. It's also interesting that she excluded the sword that he usually carries. Also she normally works in color so I'm not sure why she went with black and white for this. Still looks nice though.

Now who is this clashingly colorful comics character?

That's Zelda from the comic book version of The Legend of Zelda. Crazy how they changed the names of the hero and the damsel, but I digress.

Does someone know this fellow:

What about this fellow?
This is a bit of a complicated one. That's Ringo Starr of The Beatles. Back in the 60s the band really got into The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings so they commissioned a comic of those books and had themselves inserted as cameos. Unfortunately they didn't get the rights so their lawyers and Tolkien's blocked the comic from being published and made everyone keep quiet about it. But some of that comic did get out but the Tolkien estate tends to drop the dwarven Warhammer on anyone who posts it - which is why you never really hear about it.
