Amish Country Popcorn Dust

Finally, a dust to turn my popcorn into something that tastes like popcorn. (BTW, I've been cutting potatoes thin and air frying them to make taters and these Amish Country popcorn seasonings have been really good on them).

This stuff was a nice mix of savoury-accommodating flavours (garlic, fennel, black pepper) Works well in popcorn and on air fried 'tatos.

Pringles Tangy Tomato Twist

Are you too afraid to call it "salsa", Pringles?

This wasn't particularly strong. Mostly I tasted the tomato but it wasn't that exciting.

Cottage Country Sugar Free Fruit Gems

Just call them fruit gummis. That's fine.

Decent gummis.

Mystery Flavour Cotton Candy

I hope it's locked room.

It tastes like Cotton Candy. The mystery aspect didn't excite me.

Chocolate Orange Cotton Candy

Chocolate Orange is a good combo. This time it doesn't seem like it's "here's a layer of orange and a layer of chocolate" like the Unicorn one.

This, however, was a nice flavour. It worked in cotton candy form.

Warheads Sour Blue Raspberry Soda

*sigh*

Tired as I am of blue raspberry, this was a solid drink. Not THAT sour but more than I expected.

Herbert's Best Gummi Eyes

This is interesting. These were really interesting: very spongy yet not too fragile and yummy red goo inside. It feels like someone was having a great time designing these, making them the most "fun" candy possible. That said, pretty expensive for 4 individually packaged gummis.

Kinder Schoko-Bons Crispy

The Candy Depot got a lot of Kinder stuff recently.

I keep forgetting how good kinder is. This is very good. I feel like the design keeps making me think "these are for little kids" but the actual quality of chocolate is high.

I wound up trying these not too long ago, after something or other happened at Firehouse Subs. I was upset, as I'm not a big Jalapeno person, but tried them anyway.

Now I'm upset they haven't had them on any of my subsequent orders, and while I see them at grocery, they're never on sale.

And this isn't bad either. But I kind of think I need to have an actual pina colada. I feel like they probably tastes much better.

Double Egg Gummis

It's weird how many egg variants there are.

OK but there's a weird vanilla-y flavour to them that the koala had too that's not my favourite. Fine but not as fun to just gulp down like regular gummis to me.

This was my least favourite so far but even then, a lot better than I usually expect from soda based on a candy.

These were good but I was sitting and having these with a kid who pointed out that it "looks gross but probably tastes good". She was right. It has a greasy sheen to it, probably helped by the fact that it was roasting outside today. Also, not a lot for the packaging, probably because it's supposed to be high quality. And it did taste good.

OK. So on the plus side, it is "interesting". It is not "good". Imagine a UFO made of communion wafer with candies inside. Yeah, it's just as stale as a communion wafer. It's not a fun eat.

I think this is the last of the Warheads sodas. They've been pretty good.

Probably the best of the Warheads drinks. Black Cherry makes for a good soda flavour.

First new drink mix in a while. I'm kinda excited. Yeah, it's not a unique flavour, but still.

This is pretty good. I think it's the best of the Dole mixes

Kinder Bueno White

Kinder journey continues!

I assumed this would be the same but white but it actually had a fine coating of crumbs on the outside. Not much different but still, pretty decent and I'm glad it's not mostly the same thing. Kinder is really a surprisingly strong company.

Yeah the flavor just says "Cheese" so that's no help. Above the UP it says... "Zakzakkk..." or something? Probably just an onomatopoeia for crunchiness I'd guess. And the top just says it's the world's #1 puff-snack. So I have no idea how this is any different from a regular Cheeto.

I've never been an energy drink guy. I thought, though, after hiking up a small mountain it might refresh and re-energize me. It was still cool from the fridge even on that hot day but no, it didn't tastes good.

Genuinely don't remember my take on Vidal. Fine, maybe?

So, yeah, I remember Vidal's thing. Taste-wise, they aren't AMAZING gummies, but they are fun. But in terms of fun, I think Vidal knows to play with it's textures. So they don't seem "filled" but the texture of the strawberry is different than the leaf. I think I liked the Halloween ones more but I appreciate Vidal gets candy is supposed to be fun and a lot of that comes down to gummies are a fun texture, so playing with it means more fun.

These are decent snackers. Reminds me of a slightly nicer version of peanut butter on salteens. In a good way.

Like most of the random meat flavors it was interesting and okay but not amazing. Oh, God, this was bad. It's powder that's supposed to turn into gum and only bits do and it's just bad sour. Booo! I'm also going to try two more of these so pray for me.

Weird. Not... great. There's a rock salt quality but it's candy and I can't quite identify the flavours. Not awful but I don't recommend it.

I'd like a more detailed explanation of what exactly is inside these miniature laundry soap containers for small children to consume. The fact that the word "gum" is involved makes that already distressing concept even more unnerving.

It's "gum powder". The idea is that it's a sweet candy powder that, in theory, turns into gum as you put it in your mouth and chew it. Except it rarely actually works. So it's like shittier Pixie Stix that could be gum but mostly tastes super sweet but also kind of bitter.
