Honestly, 8 years ago media outlets were taking bets on when he'd die of OD, so I'm genuinely happy for him.

You know that first post kinda highlights how incremental the progression of game visuals has been from Halo to now compared to Balloon fight to Halo.
 
I've been rewatching old Simpsons episodes, and a week or two ago I saw one where Homer says he's 36.
 
Today, the Dreamcast (at least in the U.S.) can buy its first legal drink.
 
I think I posted this elsewhere, but the Smashing Pumpkins song 1979 was written in 1995. If it were written today, it would be called 2004.

This one came out in 2018, so it's still got the same timeframe. Going by birthdays, she was only 2 years younger in 2002 than Corgan was in 1979. Yes, people who were barely out of elementary school in 2002 are now old enough to be waxing nostalgic about 2002.

 
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed it's just a nostalgic song, not actually a cover/parody of 1979.
