It seems that work was done to fix the Twitter embeds, so we don't need more information about it at this time.

Here's a feature request!

On Past Talking Time, the quick post box at the bottom of the page had its 'Submit' button keyed to Alt+S while the box had focus.

Can something like that be added here?

Try Ctrl+Enter. (On OS X it may be something like Cmd+Enter)

One more thing I want ported:

Yes, I know you can go into the subforum and press the 'mark as read' button in the top right, but

Ideally I could do it from the main page.

It's fine if it's not feasible, I'll live, just figured I'd ask.

Thankupo.

Is there a way to add number of posts per page as a user preference? The default is 20 right now; it was 30 at the old place, you could set it as high as 50.

It can be set globally - I'd be happy enough to change it to 30 for everyone. There's also an add-on to allow a per-user setting, but it costs dollars and may result in funny link behavior if it's not carefully implemented (and there's no real way to tell without installing it).

Is there any way to make the posting field bigger? Feels cramped, especially when I’m making a longer post or on mobile.

It expands as you write more. I agree that the initial window feels cramped, but I'm not sure what to do about it.

Because it is not a standard textarea field, the browser's built-in capability to expand it will not apply to it. You may try your luck with a user stylesheet, though it'll be difficult because it looks like you'd have to override an inline style.

Is there an easy way to view all the threads I'm "watching," so I can I watch them? This was apparently set by default, and now I'm getting all these emails I don't really want, even after trying to adjust my preferences.

Can we bring back the old forum's custom smilies? I miss Wily and Scrooge and Telebunny and the disappointed Toastyfrog.

Here's a version for 2.1. It's not free, unfortunately, but it's cheap ($10).
Heck, it's easily worth that.

That's in the plans, but we need to figure out how we're actually hosting images first. This is also holding up a bunch of our new logo rotation.

Huh. I hadn't noted their absence, but now that you point it out, that's something that I used to use quote a lot too, and I don't see a way to do it.

I don't think Xenforo supports them, but I'm sure you'll find some other way of being snarky.

I don't think that's what either of us used them for, and I don't appreciate this.

I apologize.

Xenforo does not support this feature, to my knowledge. You'll have to make do.

Is there a way to "like" posts? For when you agree with what someone said, but posting what amounts to "yeah, what they said" feels like it amounts to overkill?
