The Flaming Bonds were tested, and we can thus see that an immortal soul is no match for a Lava Zone.

Let us commence the next fights.

MATCH 9

Torzelbaum says that even if you're a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle that you can't yell Fire! in a crowded arcade:

ShakeWell hopes Life Force will eventually find the Prominence it deserves:

MATCH 10

Falselogic brings us the winner of the previous Lava Dome with Lava Dome from Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest:

Issun evades the stern gaze of the Abyss Watchers from Dark Souls III:

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest and... uh, I gotta come back and think about this one. @ShakeWell is right, that's a brutal matchup, but that Life Force song is great, too.

EDIT: Okay, let's go with Life Force.

Lava Force

I'm gonna extend this match by another ~24 hours because I'm feeling lazy today to let some more votes come in.

Regulus

Sir Knightbot
Fire! at the Lava Dome

I also really love Planet Ratis/Prominence, though. Christophe Blondel has a great cover that adds a little flourish to the end of the chorus which works so well that I halfway expect it every time I listen to the original version.

It's also worth noting that there's a reasonably good chance the TMNT and Life Force tracks are by the same person.

Lava Dome and Fire! are the winners. From the looks of it, their face-off next round is gonna be intense.

It's time for our next matches:

MATCH 11

qmUQRD2.png
Sarge hopes that with enough votes he can Sortie into the Fire Tower from Gauntlet IV -- a risky move, I must say. After all, an army runs on its stomach.

qmUQRD2.png
pudik believes that with the aid of some Enchanted Arms that an Escape from Veovis Volcano is possible, but can one truly outrun both fire and brimstone?

(Watch on YouTube. Song starts at 56:10)

MATCH 12

qmUQRD2.png
Alixsar's opponent is looking at A Searing Struggle if he intends to beat this song Ys III:

qmUQRD2.png
Nevertheless, Vaeran is unfazed, having a Heart of Fire and having never succumbed to the Harmony of Despair. This could be a close match.

Vote fiercely!

(Voting closes tomorrow at 6 PM PST (GMT-8) February 22.)

A Searing Sortie

(Definitely prefer Aria's version of Heart of Fire - if we're just talking about the Sorrow games.)
