I mean this question honestly and sincerely since I know you're from Finland: is it an issue of English not being your first language? Because "over", "lover", and "Hoover" all have different vowel sounds (at least in American English).

I'm just doing a bit (and making fun of the weirdness of English pronunciation by giving examples that are all pronounced differently)
