Baseball?

The Brewers lost their best offensive player and their best starting pitcher, and they're still dominating the division.

We have now had three years of this playoff format where there are four best-of-three wild card series. The winner of game 1 has won all twelve series, and only two went to game 3. How long does this keep up before they realize they might as well be one game playoffs and they don't force the higher seeds to sit for five days?

Yea I'm happy shohei got a ring. I like the dodgers kind of generally more than the yankees, and maybe this will get people to quiet up about 2020 being a fake ring or whatever

That never made sense. The Dodgers were highly likely to make the playoffs if a full season had happened, and there's no reason to think they would be any more fluky than normal.

Man the next 6 games are incredibly important for the Mariners. Win both series and they likely get the division. Lose both (or even the Astros series) and things get dicey.

At least it's nice to know that pretty much everyone outside of Houston is probably rooting for the Ms.

As a fair-weather Detroit Tigers enjoyer, that was an INCREDIBLE baseball game. Was so happy to see the Mariners come in the clutch. Tigers couldn't get men off base to save their postseason life! Good luck against the Blue Jays, I'm rooting for ya.

I have somehow never run into this "put your shoes on your head" thing that is throughout the Mariner's fanbase until now. I love a ridiculous sports superstition.
