(Wheeee!)
2024...I'm cautiously optimistic.

Post title explained
"Book" is overused with my entries in this thread. A book often contains one story, sometimes multiple ones. Anthologies, for example. A comic isn't a book, yet I would count it here. Pulp fiction, which I read as well, are not really books, not even novellas.

Goals
- Read 6 books
...
Yeah, that's it.

Explanation
Normal Book
Short Story
Pulp Fiction (64 pages, cheap)
Comic, Graphic Novel
Tried it, but didn't read it to the end

Goodreads profile: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/4470679-daniel

Now Reading
Paul B. Thompson & Tonya C. Cook - Dragonlance - The Elven Nations Trilogy Vol. 3 - The Qualinesti

Dostoevsky is immortal!
(he/him/his)
In 2023 I read 38 books, down from 41 in 2022. There are a few explanations for the decline (probably chief among them that I spent more time on other hobbies in 2023 than I had in years past, and there are only so many hours in the day). I also haven't previously counted audiobooks: I think I may start doing so, but noting them as such. In any event, here's to 2024!

Total: 16

The Will of the Many - Islington
A Fever in the Heartland - Egan
The Tombs of Atuan - Le Guin (reread)

Shadow and Bone - Bardugo (audiobook)
The Book that Wouldn't Burn - Lawrence
Vanity Fair - Thackery
The Missing of Clairdelune - Dabos
The Farthest Shore - Le Guin (reread)
Tehanu - Le Guin

March (2)

Tales of Earth Sea - Le Guin
The Other Wind - Le Guin

April (2)

The Three-Body Problem - Cixin

May (2)

Siege and Storm - Bardugo (audiobook)
The Dark Forest - Cixin

It would be good to read more books this year, especially since I have an e-reader sitting around my bedroom unused, an active library card, and numerous signed books I have yet to open.

Updated for January and February. My goal is to read different types of books besides just graphic novels and fanfiction.
