I can't get it to work, though I didn't try the unplug the controller thing since I'm using a wireless 2.4ghz controller and at the end of the day, it's not worth the trouble at this point lol. There's always the PSX version. I appreciate your help, though.Okay, it may well be as @BubsyFan_86 said, it's incredibly picky to boot. I must have gotten really lucky - tonight I've had issues on all three versions I tossed on the card. Sometimes black screen, sometimes the quick intro movie then black screen, and only occasionally a valid boot. So... it may just be the game itself.
EDIT: Small sample size, but I followed some advice in the discussion here and unplugged the controller just after booting the game, and I managed to get into the game 3/3 times. And there is some speculation that maybe the AR/PSK is tripping some protection code. Dunno.
I use a "remote mount kit" from Laser Bear Industries:Anyone got recommendations for a Dreamcast GD-emu tray? I feel like one should be in there, but the last one I got didn't fit in the system properly. I've been ridin' dirty for a couple of years now and it's probably time that changed.
Thought I'd post a few pics of my GDEMU install for posterity.
Love how clean the Laser Bear mount kit looks once it's all put back together, almost like the original GD-ROM drive.
I got one of those last year, it's great.I'm debating whether I need the GBA X5 Mini. I have one of those 3-in-1 expansion carts for the DS, but an EverDrive would certainly be more convenient.
I'll PM you my address so you can send this to me since you clearly don't need it anymoreX'Eye
Did...your Genesis 2 eat too many cheeseburgers?
