Consider this: There are far worse navi designs in the BN series.

Well should I consider that as a vote for BN3 White?
And if we're talking about navi designs, they all suck compared to what Quickman got. |

Quickman is the lamest navi design because he just looks like Quickman.

All of the navis look like their original robot counterpart. The only difference is usually the coloring.
...Okay, actually, Gyroman is pretty different. Anyways, it looks like I'm going to play in chronological order and play BN3 White. A shame since I really wanted to discuss just how spectaculary broken Folder Back is. But yeah, seriously, could you guys vote on BN 4 and 5? Last edited by BlitzBlast; 10-12-2010 at 07:40 PM. |

It's a tough call, but I think I'll have to vote for Red Sun over Blue Moon, mainly because Chisao kidnapping *himself* to force Lan to lose (instead of, you know, his brother Dex) is slightly less stupid than Protoman getting amnesia. Slightly.
Not to mention Top Man the geriatric Navi and VideoMan - or, more accurately, VHS Video Cassette Man. ("Analog still beats digital!") As for 5, I guess go with Colonel since that is (ret)canon. And Folderback is indeed amazingly broken. Especially compared to NaviRecycle. |

Topman and Videoman are in both games.
And really? I wanted to go over how Woodman's scenario screws up your game. Then again I guess I could talk about how retarded Searchman's scenario is. Also, due to Spoutman and Tomahawkman's presence in BN6, Blue Moon leads into Team Colonel. Yes, that means Red Sun leads into Team Protoman. Yes, that means either Megaman and Searchman just completely forgot ever meeting each other, or Searchman's scenario is non-canon. ...Then again since both games technically have the same scenarios in their data, you could say that both of them are canon... |

Consider this a vote for whichever versions you want to play.

Blue Moon and Colonel for 4 and 5.

Screw the hates, play BN3 Blue. If the game wants to serve itself to you on a silver platter it is clearly an insult for you to refuse.

I got halfway through round 2 on Blue Moon before "Screw this" syndrome set in
Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to do that when you play through three seperate times to get all the chips. *ducks*

Normally. You know, is there a code for that? Anyways, since Alpha gave his vote to me, we're tied on BN3 again. |

May as well repost the poll since it's a new page.
Chronological - 5 Anachronic order - 1 BN2 - 2 BN3 White - 3 BN3 Blue - 5 BN4 Red Sun - 2 BN4 Blue Moon - 3 BN5 Team Protoman - 2 BN5 Team Colonel - 3 Looks like I can throw out doing things out of order, and it seems I'm going to be LPing BN5 Team Colonel. I'll throw in another vote for 3 Blue, 'cause man, I gotta see a robot master made out of bowling balls in action.
I'm less opinionated about 4, but uh, maybe Blue Moon 'cause Metal Man looks kinda cool there? Sure, why not. And even though I like Colonel, I'm gonna vote for Team Protoman, because we've already seen all the guys on the Colonel cover (what with it being canon and all), and some of those Navis on the Protoman cover look kind of interesting. |

Well, there's admittingly two hours left on the clock, but I'm just going to close voting now.
I am going to be playing in chronological order (so I should probably get started on BN2 now) and the versions I will play are: And you jerks are making me play So much blue... By the way, I've been meaning to ask. Do you guys want me to go in-depth on what each chip does, or can I continue skipping over most of them with a "it drops this but I have never used it before so who knows what it does"? And I fully intend to get revenge for being forced to play BN4. You know how I've been hacking infinite zenny and bug frags so I can avoid zenny grinding, meaning faster updates? I'm not going to be doing that for BN4. Admittingly, it's also because I want to talk about just how poorly executed the New Game Plus system is (you need at bare minimum 54,000 Zenny per playthrough to get all of the BMDs and PMDs. You do not even get close to that with a normal playthrough), but also because it means you guys have to witness the full BN4 experience, zenny grinding and all. As for not hacking max zenny/bugfrags: I think you should only so that after winning the game normally anyway, to be honest. |

Well then I need to keep a checklist of all of the HP Memories I've missed.
And that's just annoying. |

I always keep merchant checklists a nd cross them out when I have all I need from them. Often I'll keep two lists - one for HPMems, PoerUps, etc. and one for getting the maximum usable amount of each of their chips if you can't get them elsewhere.
I love building folders. |

Well, in BN2 I actually need a high level in order to access some of the post game areas, and the less time I need to spend backtracking the better.
BN3... I honestly don't need to do that, but the game is actually enough of a challenge that I'd like to have a large amount of HP to fall back on. BN4 I'm not going to be hacking. And in BN5, I want to fight the DS Navis at full power. |
