I know that Star Fox Command is a real thing. Other people have chimed in and talked about the different endings and whatnot.
I still can't believe this isn't BEAT's Starfox Fanfiction and Fanart Corner. What I'm trying to say is thank you for inflicting upon us this wonderful game. |

SCENE 3 PATH 2: HATEFUL CORPSE
AKA: PIGMA’S REVENGE Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
Pigma's life was defined by the selfish pursuit of power and recognition, which is what drove him to his first great betrayal of Team Star Fox. For a brief time it seemed like he had finally gotten all he desired, a place on Team Star Wolf and fear and respect across the entire lylat system. But it was all short-lived, as he was ejected from his new team and lost everything he ever had, including his very body. And when he finally passed on, it was in the bleak abyss of space, with only his killers as witnesses. Also note that Falco makes it a point to compliment Katt on her triumph instead of ignoring it or responding with resentment. Foreshadowing a gradual change of character. Quote:
Also note that Falco makes no effort to inform Star Fox as to why he was absent. It's unlikely that Fox would not believe him, as he has both Katt and ROB as wittnesses. It's more likely that he does not inform them because he considers this accomplishment, regardless of how many lives it saved, irrelevant. |

A fitting end for him and his supportive friends. But what about Star Fox? WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM? Last edited by BEAT; 07-23-2014 at 12:53 PM. |

Peppy's a space rabbit, right? So he probably has tons of daughters. I say there's no need to be concerned about just one of his children.

Ah, "Team Suck Fox." It really feels like they got wind of fans quoting SF64 all over the place, and tried to come up with an equally quotable/goofy script, silly insults and all. Of course, 64 managed to keep much of the melodrama at arm's length. You see which particular characters have histories with each other, but the actual history is kept out of the rail shooter about fuzzy animals. Command dives into it without hesitation.
I'm excited to get Star Wolf in on things. As I recall, they have some of the best lines (not to mention best ships). |

SCENE 2 PATH 3: THE OLD GUARD
AKA: GENERAL PEPPY Quote:

Fox, much like the reader, does not know or care who Zazan is. Quote:
Fox, having confirmed that yes, slippy really is getting married, orders slippy back to Aquas. Slippy, however, is under no obligation to obey. CHOOSE GO WITH FOX. JOIN THE HUNT ON AQUAS. Last edited by BEAT; 07-10-2014 at 02:51 PM. |

Haha Peppy is a dick.
Anyway, while I don't want to just listen to Fox's orders like a good boy, I'm even more put off by the possibility of having to follow him around while he mopes about his ex. Let's hit Aquas. |

Slippy sure has grown, hasn't he?
I know this is a Let's Read, but he had one of my favorite ships in the game (probably my second favorite). It's on the high end of health/shields, and the aforementioned plasma lasers are (almost) as powerful as they come (there's one ship that's stronger). The tradeoff is as small a boost meter as you can have, but that regenerates anyway, so I'll take it. I really think the game's biggest crime was that it has a very nice variety of ships to choose from, plus online multiplayer that was actually pretty stable, but then it forced you to play in Fox's generic-mobile. Why? Sorry for the interruption. Back to the Star Fox team's love lives. Send Slippy to Aquas! |

Go with Fox. His arc has more pathos.

Probably because that made it stable.

It just feels like if Mario Kart DS/Wii/7 only let you play as Mario in a standard cart to help things run more smoothly.

Funfact: If players use DS Download Play to play Mario Kart DS, the cartless (har har) players are restricted to only using Shy Guy, whose car stats are probably like Mario's.

SCENE 3 PATH 3: BLUE
AKA: AMANDA Quote:
Quote:
Midway through the battle, Amanda enters the fray. She arrives not as a damsel in distress, but as a capable pilot, driven to action to protect her homeland, and ensure her fiancee's safety. Together the two of them destroy or drive out the remaining Anglar forces in the area. Quote:
Amanda powering down ROB (again, a symbolic representation of team star fox) is also significant. Whereas Slippy earlier became angry and frustrated with the machine, Amanda simply removed it from the equation entirely. The foreshadowing should be obvious. SCENE 4 PATH 3: UNCOMMON VALOR AKA: SLIPPY'S RESOLVE Quote:
Quote:
Octoman believes in Zako fully, and Zako wishes for nothing but what Octoman desires. It's rare to see such wonderfully fleshed out and oddly touching secondary characters. Their love is beautiful and pure. Quote:
Quote:
Team Star Fox was good to slippy, but it's something he no longer needs to be in. |

ENDING PATH 3: ABANDON SHIP
Quote:
I like to think that Falco, and Peppy would respond joyfully to the news of Slippy's marriage, and would wish him nothing but the best. Fox though... FOX TENDS TO HOLD GRUDGES... Last edited by BEAT; 07-23-2014 at 12:54 PM. |

I mean... Star Fox is not exactly Nintendo's most prestigious franchise, but the way they flushed it all down the drain in Command is...just...
