Your pain makes me SO HAPPY!
Your sloppy playstyle (as googlesheng already pointed out) makes me want to rip my hair out. Subscribed! |

Incidentally, there is a new video processing right now, but it has a brand new form of AV sync problems. I'm thinking that this LP is cursed.

Chapter 3: Level 2 at last
In this episode, Ganon gets actually finds Level 2, gets some useful subweapons, and gets owned by an HP-boosted Gohma. Three videos, three completely different AV issues. I swear I'm testing this stuff out before I record for real and it still messes up. I'm changing software entirely before the next video. Sorry. Rookie mistakes. Fun Fact: The Fourth Quest was made by two people.
One person did the overworld, another did the dungeons. When the contest decided to let them both win, they combined the two and did some minor tweaking to make them work together. |

Yep.
This is a brilliant idea that certainly won't have any ill effects, I'm sure. |

I've been stress testing the hell out of Hypercam3 and it seems to be working fine every time, but I'm going to give it many more tests before I lay down a "real" recording. And this one even will take in my stereo mix and mic at the same time, so no more ghetto sound effect!

That's what you said the last three times.

You lost a - on the start of the youtube code.
Also, I still say you're being unnecessarily harsh on the overworld. Your big problem is you keep expecting all the secrets to be in the same place as the original game. If you didn't have the whole thing so thoroughly committed to memory already, you'd be even more lost playing a blind run of that. This actually looks to be a lot friendlier since they keep giving you a tool in dungeon X that opens the door to dungeon X+1. Narrows down what you're looking for nicely. |

That's funny, I could swear that was working earlier. Fixed now.
Now that I've sort of wrapped my head around it I'm learning to appreciate the overworld. But you got to admit that it's partly designed to screw with people who know Zelda pretty well, especially with the door repair charges. No no, I'm upgrading from Hypercam2 to 3. Totally different. But seriously, it's a much better program from what I can tell so far. |

I was SCREAMING at YouTube the entire time. Absolute, for serious, truth.
...and then you spent two bombs on darknuts only to pick up ZERO bombs. I'm weeping here... ...and that ending must be how you leave Michelle feeling every night. Last edited by JohnB; 06-04-2013 at 06:06 PM. |

That Gohma boss was just a bunch of bullshit. The boosted boss HP in this quest is BS in general.

Oh god, the days of 40 headed Gleeok...
But it's the REDACTED you have to see to believe. Anyway, McClain, tech issues aside, you are quite entertaining and this LP rocks. |

I appreciate it! I'm hoping to get the tech issues resolved. The problem with doing a blind LP is I don't really want to toss anything because it won't be the same to replay it, you know? Fingers crossed my new setup works out right. And now that I have some equipment the LP itself should open up a little more, hopefully.

Just going to remind you that you totally died in a screen in the overworld that held an item that would help you A LOT.
You could have gotten the item before Level 1, so that'll narrow your options on what type of secret it was. |

And this is the less bullshit extra quest?
|

All I know about the third quest is they start throwing Wizrobes at you in the second dungeon and I was told it was the more challenging fighting quest.
Just for reference, I've been playing the first quest on my test file while doing test recordings, and I've gotten everything beaten except Levels 6 and 8 in roughly the same amount of time, maybe just a little more. |

Again, for something you're supposed to play after the second quest, so far this all strikes me as within reasonable levels so far.
Except those. Those are pretty terrible. |

The idea of tougher bosses is cool, though. Yeah, it's really obnoxious in Level 1 and 2, but I can't say the idea of a tougher Aquamentus to act a midboss later in the game wouldn't be terrible.
Imagine if the boss of Level 7 had been that Red Aquamentus instead. |
