Problem: studying Science rapidly lowers Faith. Both increase Intelligence, but Science increases it faster.

Nancypants is a young lass of many contradictions!

I wholeheartedly support Science Nun.

Fantastic, she'll rip a whole in the universe by being the Paradox Nun!

I could definitely support Science Nun Nancy Pants.

Science nun sounds great.

Actually, Science only lowers faith for the lower classes. Once Nancy advances to say, an Adept class (or whatever it's called) then she'll be questioning wearing long dresses or whatever.

Get her back to the farm. I want this chick to be bench-pressing the family wagon by the time she's 11.

I also vote for science and arts. I want to make a classy lady. She can pick up the sword when she's a bit older.
I'm pretty curious about what sort of contradictions you can make. Like, can she do nothing but church stuff, but still get loaded up with boxomize pills? I somehow assume she automatically becomes more sinful for taking them. And probably refuses to if her faith gets so high. I pretty much want us to make her a classy lady, then start making her a bit more of a heroine once that's achieved. Though the concept of raising her to be a super-nun is amusing as well, and I should probably vote for that and just play my own session for my ideal. |

Since there is a weight loss diet option I'm curious about the other extreme. What is the maxium weight we could get her to be? Could our little princess wind up marrying the King at 400lbs?

Nancy Pants: The Corpulant Science-Nun

Unlike the Weight Loss diet the Robust diet is actually a good idea to put her on from time to time.

There's a maximum and a minimum weight you can achieve in the game, and the range is rather narrow, though I've forgotten exactly what it is. If you go beyond it in either direction, which you have to be trying in order to do, it just moves back inside the range at the start of the next month. The game handles weight about as realistically as a character bio in a JRPG manual, though.
The effects of the various diets are pretty gradual. The robust diet also increases the Constitution score, whereas the weight loss diet lowers it. Constitution has a few minor effects. I'd go on but I think that Satonakaja would prefer to be the one to explain things that haven't shown up yet. |

She weighs as much as three crates of apples!

Maybe that's why she has trouble at the farm.

So how much SCIENCE does she have to learn before she can invent a laser gun to take out those pesky monsters without all this tedious mucking about with swords? Seriously, if anything remotely along those lines is possible, that's what I'm voting for. If not, well, I guess Science Nun is close.

You need to study magic to get the laser gun.
#138
Any sufficiently advanced science is indistinguishable from magic, after all.
#139
Unfortunately, you can't advance your science that far in this game.
#140
Not if you don't believe! You gotta have f-f-f-faith!
...and Science. Lots of Science. |
#141

Laser is not difficult, guys. |
#142
So guys.
We making her marry the Prince or the dragon? |
#143
We could always go with Cube, you, or random guy!
Wait, you can't do that last one, can you? |
#144
Dragon Prince!
#145
Personally, I'm going with the Prince
I always liked how that route went. Also, it's the easiest way to fulfill the title. |
#146
Cube is the only answer.
#147

Rebellion against the repression of her religious teachings and the boundless curiousity fostered by her love of science can only lead to one candidate, the dragon. How would they even go about it? Where would the ceremony be? What would her in-laws think?
Besides that, a girl with brains and faith really only needs one more thing to make her life complete, the massive bulk of a dragons hoard with which to fill her days with comfort. |
#148
Considering that other LP went the violent route we'd normally go, I'm gonna vote for Nancy doing the most stereotypical girl jobs possible. Particularly babysitting.
#149
Honest suggestion here: I have absolutely no idea if it's even possible to raise her all the way to adulthood and pay for (expensive) tuition and clothing and presents and vacation without ever, EVER, making her go on adventures for loot and monies. So I say skip the RPG portions altogether and see what kind of job she can land by staying within city limits her whole life

Well if we really need the money, we could always go use debug mode.
Only way to get a reasonable amount of Buxomize Pills anyways. /sickpervert |
