This was of course, Final Fantasy IV Free Enterprise. I used the standard Let's Racing Time "long" flagset, with the safety checks turned off, of course. Took forever to find the last item to forge the crystal (it was in a Ribbon chest in the Subterrain, I had 2 more checks in the entire Subterrain left).

Whelp, that's all the randomizers I know. Tomorrow I'm going to have to try something... new.

Today the two headed hydra was slain and the Fire Crystal saved! Only one crystal and probably the ultimate enemy remain!

Turns out I kind of misremembered the plot of Trials of Mana and while you visit each mana crystal, you also later kill the monsters that were sealed within them when they explode.

So I’m not sure how that counts, but regardless, the danger of threats to the Wind and Water stones have been removed from the public discourse.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest is complete! That's 3 1/2 points! (5 crystals at 1/2 point each and one final boss) Next is NES FF. It's been over twenty years since I've played the original game!

After years and years of staring longingly at the Final Fantasy fanservice fun in FF X|V, I'm starting my own game! I don't know how far I'll get in the next three week(end)s in a game that consumes hundreds upon hundreds of hours but if I've already put around 350 into Ghost of Tsushima since July then maybe I can do the same here!

Depending on how much time you sink into it, you might be able to hit the end of the ARR main story, which would net you six crystals outright and a couple of endgame bosses.

Crisis Core came to an end - I defeated not-Sephiroth, but the future refused to change. No glory, but I now recognize 3 more references from FFVII Remake.

I also finished my COVID-benefit run of FFV Advance. It turns out that once you defeat Exdeath, the crystals reform? That's wild! It's also three glory total, if my counting is right, which it might not be.

How did you do? Did you meet your Final Pheb goals? Did you save all the crystals and expel Chaos/Falz from the world/universe? I started my FF1 (NES) run but burned out on it really early.

Was our final score 17? That's a good start! Next Phebruary let's see if we can beat get to 20!

If my Wonderswan flash cart had come sooner, I'd have contributed at least a run through Final Fantasy II to this, but alas, I'm only like halfway through it (if that). Perhaps next year!
