I cleared Future Redeemed, with about 90% of all the optional stuff done and 27 hours on the clock. My party level was around 61 and most of what I had left to do was optional Unique bosses at levels 80, 90, and 100 and hunt down a few containers.

Exploration is as fun as ever, but by the end I really missed the base game's class system because my loadouts ended up being a lot more varied.

Lore geeks will lose their minds with some of the late game revelations - some big references to Xenoblade Chronicles X and Xenogears and Xenosaga

Future Redeemed ending spoiler:

I guess it's hard to say what's Simply A Nod and what's Just Reused Assets To Make DLC Easier To Produce and what's Supposed To Be Official Xenoblade Lore, but it sure is interesting that the final Ouroboros form the party turns into is the tandem Ares that Elma and the Earth Hero piloted in Xenoblade X

I hope that the potential for reused assets means that there is a Xenoblade Chronicles X Remake-Switch in production, because, like all Xenoblade gameplay, that would be ideal on the Switch.
