A place for weird questions that don't fit anywhere else.

Here's mine:
I wonder - are there people who don't like cats but are attracted to catgirls*?

*Or catboys or catpeople of all other gender identities

Man I don't know I'd say I'm attracted to cat people but I will say I like the aesthetics of a cat but do not like living with a cat.

A follow up question: If you're allergic to cats, would you also be allergic to catgirls?

Yes but maybe less so. I guess.

Also, please note that non-catgirl questions are allowed in this thread. And answers are not necessarily required but are welcomed.

Depends. Cat allergies are generally to dander from their fur; some catgirl designs are barely furry, so any reaction would probably be mild. But if they're furry all over then I'd expect you'd be in for a bad time.

I firmly believe that dogs spend much of their spare time thinking about cats

When you make a swiss cheese, is there a perfect ratio of hole to cheese that you're supposed to aim for?

Why do dragonflies seem to like cars so much? I see them hanging around parking lots in the summer, just darting around, looking at cars. I wonder what about cars interests them.

Maybe they are mistaking the cars for water?

Jonas Müller is still working day and night in his lab to perfect a swiss cheese that's 100% hole.

Not much, evidently:
wikipedia said:
The period before the first molt is called the pro-juvenile stage; the young are unable to feed or sting, but have suckers on their tarsi, used to hold on to their mother. This period lasts 5 to 25 days, depending on the species. The brood molt for the first time simultaneously in a process that lasts 6 to 8 hours, marking the beginning of the juvenile stage.[91]

Juvenile stages or instars generally resemble smaller versions of adults, with fully developed pincers, hairs and stingers. They are still soft and lack pigments, and thus continue to ride on their mother's back for protection. They become harder and more pigmented over the next couple of days. They may leave their mother temporarily, returning when they sense potential danger. Once the exoskeleton is fully hardened, the young can hunt prey on their own and may soon leave their mother
A lot of bug species will be born with energy reserves that get them through the first stages of development or they will store up reserves for a future stage so that, for instance, after they mature to adults, they do not eat again before they die.

It has just come to my attention that the preferred term for cat enby is nyan binary.

I don't know how acceptable it is. There are some issues with using it since it could be confused with the insect (low chance) or for someone cutting a gendered insult short (higher chance). So I think we'll need to keep looking for an alternative. Is the antonym meant to be merely descriptive or would it be used as an insult?

Now here's my question - is Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo a himBo(bobo-bo Bo-bobo)?

I'm thinking that the use case of "bee" in this context would be along the lines of a presenter starting off with "ladies and gentlemen, bees and enbies," rather than anything derogatory.

As far as the "is [x] a himbo?" question, remember the 3 golden criteria for himbohood: (a) buff physique, (b) kindness, and (c) simplemindedness/dumbness. Does Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo satisify these three criteria? idk but maybe you know the answers.
