Timestamp still not working but I like that Cowboy Bebop piece a lot anyway so my vote is for Japanese Animes

Johnny Unusual

(He/Him)
Cowboy Bebop sees you next time while Revolutionary Girl Utena parries and strikes.

Match 11
Next is a match up of two very different forms of robot show! First is @Exposition Owl with Violent Delights from Ramin Djawadi for Westworld. Against it, @Issun steals a maple truck worth of bile for Mike and the Bots singing The Canada Song from Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Match 12
Then @Purple dishonestly brings us The Big Bluff from Trigun via all time anime great Tsuneo Imahori (his Hajime no Ippo soundtrack also rules). Against it is @Bongo 's pick of Walking by Edd Kalehoff from the long running game show The Price is Right.

Being unwilling to condone the violence proposed here by Tom Servo, I am forced to vote for cowboys who cause us to in some way question the line between man and machine.

Cowboys win!

Match 13
@Torzelbaum picks at the Spicks and Specks by the Bee Gees as used in the Walking Dead. Against it is Sandy Star from Trigun... Again already? Well it's a beautiful little peace brought to us by @WildcatJF

Match 14
Then @Kirin gives us the Soujo Kakumei Overture from Revolutionary Girl Utena. Composer unknown. Shinkichi Mitsumune, maybe? Against it is my pick, the main theme from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable by Yugo Kanno.

Trigun and Revolutionary Girl Utena bring in a big win for 90s anime.

Match 15
@Exposition Owl remembers when Kara Remembers from Battlestar Galactica by Bear McCreary. But @Issun has some Parting Words from Lost by now big name composer Michael Giacchino
maxresdefault.jpg

Match 16
@Purple is ramping things up with a Ranbu Escalation from Kamen Rider Gaim by Shuhei Naruse. Against it, @Bongo eats some Killer Tofu from the fictional band the Beets from Doug.

Purple

(She/Her)
OK so for context here Battlestar Galactica is set on a big space battleship, and Gaim is the one where all the weapons and armor are fruit themed.

You'd never guess which one has the higher number of significant character deaths from those descriptions, and it's not even a little bit close.

Issun

(He/Him)
That first matchup is tough but I gotta go with Lost.

Not really feeling the other two much but I guess Killer Tofu is kind of fun.

Johnny Unusual

(He/Him)
Battlestar Galactica reboots to the next round and Doug digs it.

Round 2
Match 17
New round and we start with popular TV mind fucks. My choice of Freshly Squeezed from Twin Peaks against @Kirin 's choice of Working Man's Theme from Serial Experiment Lain.
maxresdefault.jpg

Match 18

Then it's robots... sort of. It's @Exposition Owl 's Bicameral Mind matching wits with @Purple 's Dance of Curse.
