This weekend a few of my IRL friends playing some TTS, it was the first time using the program for the others and our first game (Lords of Waterdeep) went OK, after the initial confusion on how to use it, though our second attempt (at one of their recommendations, Powergrid) didn't go as well. Part of this was because it was decided on a whim, but also the in-game rules weren't as readily visible as Waterdeep and there was a lot of stopping and starting as we checked to see if we were doing it right.
So I was wondering if there were any other recommendations (apart from the games mentioned above) for a bunch of relative newbies to TTS? DnD and DnD-adjacent games, as well as most sort of medieval fantasy are all enjoyed by this group, but ease of play in the TTS format is alsoa big plus. Right now the Steam Workshop is just flooded with possibilities and I'm having a hard time finding the diamonds in the rough.
