some dishes just can't be topped - talking about cheese pizza

Do you like "plain" cheese pizza with no other toppings?

Today is National Cheese Pizza Day - meaning just a "base" pie with no additional toppings. Some people appreciate the simple purity of pizza that is only dough, tomato sauce and mozzarella. Does that apply to you? Do you have a favorite cheese pizza?

Note: Four cheese pizza does not count as just "plain" cheese for the purposes of this thread and poll.

Most of the time I prefer toppings, but sometimes a plain ol' cheese pizza just sounds really good, you know?

So here's a follow up question - are you more likely to not get toppings on a thin crust cheese pizza?

I don't think I've ever had a thin crust pizza without toppings.

I guess I'll be the one freak who votes cheese only.

I like regular pizzas with toppings and stuff. Just nothing beats a plain, cheese pizza.

Listen. I'm from Brooklyn. Pizza is dough, sauce, and cheese. If you walk into any pizza place and say "give me a regular slice", that's what you get. If you need to put other stuff on your pizza to make it good, that's not right. You can't build on a weak foundation!

Let me be controversial: you don't even need cheese. Pizza marinara is tomato sauce, olive oil, garlic and oregano (or marinara sauce in other words). And yeah, a plain Margherita is really good too.

I live in New Haven, where cheese (or "mootz") is considered an optional topping, and while I still usually include it because I just love cheese, there are lots of great local pies that eschew it.
