My question: Will we get a big announcement when the archives go live?

Yes, we'll make sure the word gets out. The archives are complete; we just need to figure out a new home for them such that the privacy is maintained.

In the meantime, you can view the public portions (most of them, anyway) at REDACTED.

Okay, dumb question: The old Book of the Dead wasn't one of the things that got archived and there isn't a new one. Has anyone been banned (temporarily or permanently) since we switched to the new forums?

The only one I'm aware of is Vidfamne, who was (presumably) perma-banned for doubling-down on casual sexism and/or being a hectoring prick.

It’s one of the things that hasn’t be done yet. …And needs to be done.

There’s a bunch of things I’ve personally slacked on that I’m hoping to address in the coming months. This includes the call for moderator applications, of which we desperately need more of.

I apologise on behalf of the staff. We have all had some major IRL issues to deal with, and there are currently only five of us (which is why we need more mods).
