If something isn't working that seems like it ought to be, tell us about it here. If it's broken, we'll try to fix it.

Known issue: It seems that the forums are not currently able to send email addresses (like account confirmations and 2FA challenges) to mailboxes provided by Yahoo, which includes not only addresses @yahoo.com but also some other domains. As far as my research has been able to tell, there's nothing we can really do about this. After enough time has passed, Yahoo will realize that our outgoing mail provider isn't sending spam from this domain, and start letting them through. In the mean time, if this is causing you problems, contact an admin and we'll see what we can do.

It seems that Soundcloud embeds don't work. Look at this:

It's incorrectly encoding the URL, so the embed doesn't load and the link doesn't go anywhere. It'll show up in a preview, but not when loading the page afterward.

We're not the only ones with this issue. It's possible it will be fixed in Xenforo 2.2. It's also possible this extension will fix it by overriding the built-in behavior.

It worked fine for me? Both the preview and the link.

Well, that's weird. It shows up correctly in your quote, but not in my post:

The issue seems to happen intermittently. I've seen the embed work sometimes when loading this page, only to break when I reload it. Well, I guess we can call it a known issue, at least.

Currently, pressing the "home" button leads to the old forum, not to the "absolutelynot" version. But I guess that's not really a bug per se, just a temporary inconvenience.

Pretty much, it'll be resolved automatically come 1st Sep.

I don't recommend spending any effort fixing this bug, but it seems the rotating banner doesn't work on way-out-of-date firefox. I always see the Internal Server Error one. But this browser is so old, I'm planning to retire it imminently anyway.

Rotating banner requires ECMA6 support. It won't work in IE10, either, and I won't lose sleep over that.

More importantly, it won't work on mobile -- as mentioned elsewhere, the mobile banner is 37px tall, and most banners won't be legible at that resolution. Maybe we can have a limited subset of banners that will randomize into that slot.

Is there a limit on the number of rotating banners? Are they being crowdsourced? They just really tickle the hell out of me and I want as many as possible.

I am unsure if it's really the case or just my Android Chrome, but it seems like threads (maybe posts, too?) by moderators have an usually high font size. I don't know if this should be necessary or if this is even intended...

In the past I've seen Android Chrome just arbitrarily scaling some text differently than others. Did it on the old forums too.

The media tag dialogue accepts Twitch clip URLs, but the result doesn't render:

Code:
[MEDIA=twitch]clip:AlertUgliestStorkPeteZaroll[/MEDIA]

I dunno if this is a bug exactly but the cursor in the text entry box for posting is more active than I’d like, at least on iPhone safari which is where I’ll be doing 90% of my talking timing. If I use backspace to delete a word letter by letter it’ll also delete the space before the word on the same tap as the last letter, which is leading to me typing two words likethis a lot. The line break is strange, too. Usually I hit return twice to get a new paragraph with a blank line between, but that seems to be only taking me to the next line. Hitting it a third time takes the cursor where I want but drops automatic capitalisation of the first letter of the paragraph. Then when I backspace to turn caps on it’ll delete the line breaks along with the letter. All of this is intermittent, too, so I can’t just adjust my typing to accomodate.

Manually adjusting bbcode tags is behaving strangely, too. If I type something and then go back and put tags around it, when I shift the cursor back to the end of the post and type again it seems to delete the tag I just entered and start typing where the opening tag was some of the time. Maybe it’s trying to convert from code to wysiwyg and failing?

i'm not sure if it's a bug or w/e but the Home button on the top bar sends you back to the old forums (tho i assume these forums will eventually become talking-time.net)

FYI: the Home button is now gone. This is on purpose: it was confusing to have it go to TT2.0, and post-migration, it would do the same thing as the Forums button right next to it.

Do not adjust your monitors.

Oh, good. I kept hitting it by accident and it was driving me nuts.

Likewise.

I'm not sure if this is a bug with the forums, my phone or just them playing together weird, but whenever I make a double-space, like I did just now, it stops capitalizing. Which is a nothing of a problem, but it still kiiiinda bugs me

Your double-spaces are collapsed into one space when the post is rendered. You may as well give it up.

Old habits die hard, I know.

I'm getting dings from my antivirus on the rotating banner crowdsource thread (page 2).

I'm wondering if it's Spoony's link, because that's a broken image for me.

Private feedback is bugged, no time to look into it myself, just putting this here incase someone else can or to remind myself later.

Fixed it. Looks like a typo in the configuration.

I disabled alerts for "Replies to watched threads" and "Posts to a watched forum" in my Preferences, as well as the "Receive news and update emails" box in both my Account Details and Privacy, but I'm still getting emails about all of these.

You have to click the unsubscribe link in the email. It is a baffling design decision.

Oh. I ended up just removing all my watched threads. For some reason it was automatically watching the first few threads I replied to.
