Tough first match. "Blue Blue Bandanna" is yet another brilliant Raito piece (EDIT: actually by bermei! Sorry!)... but Tekken 2's "Opening" (or "Black Winter Night Sky" as it's known) is probably largely responsible for me liking fighting games, or video games as a whole, all on its own.

"Wolf" for the second match. If you shelled out for the deluxe version of the recent VF5 PC release, you got the entire musical catalogue of the series to listen to, which I did. Among that history, VF3 is a high point, and it starts a funny tradition that recurs periodically: that of the sentimental Wolf theme.

Btw this Dan mix is one of the things I mentioned in the nom thread that I only thought of because it’s been in my local mp3 collection since the 90s. I don’t have the rest of the album, no idea where I got it, probably LimeWire or maybe even Napster, lol.

(Huh, was just looking up some dates and apparently LimeWire was recently resurrected as some kind of AI cash-in. Welp.)
