It is awful but 3 of those poll options mean more or less the same thing. Also, none of them match my feelings about DST.

Also also, I'm not sure why you put up a poll since you have already made up your mind about it and put your answer in the thread title.

Octo is a Renegade who plays by his own rules.

But Octo also keeps things PG-13

I can't tell if your response is a joke or not? Probably that extra hour of sleep I lost.

I have tomorrow off work to focus on reviewing some papers for a deadline. I hadn't realized it would give me an extra day to adjust before going back to work but I'm quite pleased with myself.

I believe that each of us should be allowed to bank spare hours at our individual discretion and use them whenever we feel like it.

Talk to me in the middle of winter when its dark all day and you can't find the energy to get out of bed.

I don't care which one is permanent I just want to stop changing. Having it be dark when I wake up sucks, but also not being able to walk the dogs after work or do anything fun sucks so they're pretty equal to me.

The last several time changes, my phones alarm did not adjust itself when I set it the previous night; making it so that I was an hour late or early getting up. And I work weird, early hours so that hour is significant.

This time, I figured that would happen again so I was clever and set my alarm based on that information... and my phone did adjust the alarm for Daylight Savings Time, so besides the hour of sleep I lost, I lost a second one because of that.

I TRIED TO PLAY DLSs RULES AND I STILL GOT BURNED!

ITS HOOEY I TELL YOU!

Wasn't there a bill a few years ago ending the back and forth that Trump even signed and then something kept it from being implemented?

its a bunch of malarkey is what it is.
all my clocks in my life change automatically so it always kinda takes me by surprise. my alarm goes off one day and I'm like "why is it so dark out"

I think we should only Fall Back, never Spring Forward, but redefine the hour to be 8766/8767 of the current hour. That way, there's still a day each year when you can get an extra hour of sleep.

Not sure about that, but a bipartisan bill to end it was introduced this week.

I just want a schedule where I can get up while it's still dark, and get off work while it's still bright out, and keep that going throughout the year.

So, if anything, we have DST backwards.

You think you got it bad. I just got back from a trip and changed timezones on top of day light savings time ending.

Then, the bill to end daylight-savings passes, but no one read the fine print and everyone actually voted to end daylight.

"An expedient and permanent solution to the climate change crisis! Through the power of GEOSCIENCE!"

I'm damned to eternal sunlessness for half the year either way, but at least I got an extra hour of sleep this weekend.

My son should be happy. Now there is time go outside and play with bubbles when I'm done with work.

YOU WANT TO TAKE HAPPINESS AWAY FROM A SMALL CHILD?!
