Culinary Catastrophes: Bad Food Ideas Part 2

I've mentioned the delicious Swedish pastry known as semla before. Today I came across an image that I'm almost tempted to put behind a spoiler, because it just feels... obscene somehow.

Yeah, that's a sausage with ketchup shoved straight through a semla.

State Fair Season is upon the USA! And what culinary horrors are folks consuming to escape the horrors of creeping fascism?

How about the Uncrustaburger! It's just like a cheeseburger except the bun is two deepfriend uncrustable PBJ sandwiches!

Why live another day in this horrifying world when you can eat this and instantly suffer a myocardial infarction and releasing you from this mortal prison!

Hmm. I enjoy some kinds of state fair excess, but I think that one’s a no from me. Doesn’t sound tasty enough to justify the unhealthiness and the mess.

Reminds me of the PB&J burger I got at Jackson's Burger some years ago. It didn't use the Uncrustables as buns, though.

It... wasn't bad? But it's not something I enjoyed as a full size burger. It would be better as like a slider or hors d'oeuvre. Because while unique and surprisingly enjoyable the first couple of bites, it really wears out its welcome as you keep eating.

They also had those at the state fair this year. I passed. Instead I had a “crab and shrimp bomb” where the aforementioned seafoods were rolled in a ball with cream cheese and seasonings and then deep fried in a crust of flamin’ cheetos. It was pretty good.

I don't like pickles much so I wouldn't get this, but it seems more interesting flavour and texture-wise than just bread? I prefer lettuce wrap burgers to ones in buns though.
