I used to dig crunchy more; I'm not sure when I shifted into not wanting to scrape the nut chunks out of my teeth.

Of course, this also begs the question of which is better: Peanut butter and jam, or peanut butter and banana?

For regular peanut butter I prefer smooth, but if it’s freshly made it’s fine (good even) for it to have a bit of texture to it still.

I really like them both. But as I get older, in perfect ratio. Too much and it's kinda gross. I had a similar issue with anpan when I was living in Japan.

chunky all the way. Sometimes nothing beats a PB&J sammie. For snacking I have been known to pour honey directly into the PB jar, mix, and eat.
