It's refined, but at the same time, still kinda empty? After I played it, I got the same feelings as playing Jak 2 after Jak & Daxter. Still a good game, but many areas felt like it was still an indie kickstarter game, which it kinda was. Collecting optional figments for the sake of collecting them was fine, but then doing the luggage and tags as another collecting task, with I guess giving you more XP as a reward? I didn't notice the rewards, it just felt like another arbitrary set of things to do to pad out the length, which it really didn't need.

At least they didn't take the Jak 2 route and make Raz all hard and sullen.

I'm at Cassie Opa's levels now. I think my favorite level so far is Boole's Cook-off Stage. It was challenging but varied and fun. The time added some needed stress. The boss fight was a real struggle until I realized that the levitation ball cleans up the vomit. (So, so much vomit.)

I beat this last night. I enjoyed the fight against
Maligula
but the level before it wore out its welcome. Especially that song. Not a great way to inform the player of the backstory.

I can agree the gameplay design of the last stage wasn't a high note to go out on, but I did enjoy the It's a Small World level theme.
