I am so excited to get my hands on this.

It sounds like she's had a rough 7 years, but it's good to see her finding her voice again.

My birthday was in August and I asked my mom to preorder it for me. Promised myself I'd finish a book that's due back at the library before I start this, but soon!

She moved to the town I lived in a while ago and then moved out, so I'm quite curious if anything about my town shows up in the book.

My copy arrived today. I've only read a few pages but it's already amazing. The bit about skipping chapter 4 was gold.

I've already seen our local grocery store and a hotel chain mentioned, so yay!

Also it's a fantastic book, and she still has her amazing ability to handle writing about horrible situations with the cartoons. And holy shit she's gone through some awful stuff.

But then you'll read about the weird ass pile dog and laugh.

I was going to say that's my favourite, but then remembered like three others I'd also call that, really the whole book is great.

Started this last night. So far "Daydreams" got the most laughs out of me, though some of my favorites are about her as a little kid, because little kids are really dang weird.

I definitely almost broke down and cried at a certain part. If you've read the book, you know what I'm talking about.
