01 Pokemon Brilliant Diamond [Switch - 22h - 5/5 - This felt like pretty much all I really want or need out of a Pokemon game]
07 Button City [PC - 7h - 3/5 - Cute, but sometimes felt a little more "fun for ages 5-10" than the "fun for all ages" that I'd hoped]
08 Sunshine Heavy Industries [PC - 5h - 5/5 - I really liked this as a sort of casual Zachtronics game: success is easy but an optimization challenge is there if you want it]
11 *Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 [DC - 3h - 5/5 - I haven't played in years and figured it would have aged, but I got hooked in real quick, just like back in the day]
18 *Super Mario 64 [N64 - 8h - 5/5 - Been a while since I did a minimal 70 star run, but it's a nice way to casually tour through the game]
21 Mafia [PC - 10h - 4/5 - Not what I was expecting, and I think that was to the game's benefit]
26 *Dark Souls 3 [PC - 23h - 5/5 - First time trying with items shuffled; it was fun, but next time I'll randomize more stuff I think]

15 Later Alligator [PC - 2h - 3/5 - I liked the structure of this, but the writing felt like an almost focus grouped level of twee and I got pretty tired of it well before the end]
17 *Venture Kid [Switch - 1h - 3/5 - I actually forgot what this was and fired it up just to remind myself, but it's so short and simple that I just played through the thing again]

09 Elden Ring [PC - 68h - 5/5 - I'll admit that it started to peter out around the 50h mark, but prior to that, it was a pretty amazing experience]
21 Kirby and the Forgotten Land [Switch - ?h - 4/5 - Terrible ending sequence aside, this was a very pleasant time, one of the better entries in the series]
24 *Super Mario Sunshine [GC - ?h - 5/5 - I'm glad that I played this enough when I was younger that I know exactly what to do and what to avoid to make replays of this optimally fun]
25 Forward Escape the Fold [PC - 12h - 5/5 - Every years, there's a run based game or two that I just love to bits, and this feels like one of those]
30 *Donkey Kong Country [SNES - 2h - 3/5 - Ignoring the bonus areas and just focusing on clearing the main levels definitely made this breezier, though it still is pretty mediocre as a whole]

29 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder's Revenge [PC - 2h - 4/5 - A perfect example of making a modern retro game that plays like how you remember the old games playing, rather than how they actually played]

17 Shenmue [PC - 20h - 2/5 - The first half was janky in a kind of interesting way, but the second half was just bad]

26 Jack Move [PC - 6h - 4/5 - While there isn't anything truly exceptional about the game, I love the concept of a very short, tight, polished JRPG]
