What the hell is that even supposed to mean? Stop making stuff up! Dun dun dun? Well, you know the drill. Time to head further in and kick some shadow ass. Onwards! Man, now they're just taking the piss, aren't they. I swear, the things I put up with for this dingy old club. Geez, finally. Baby baby baby- Bab-Hey, where are you going? The fun's just getting started. Welp, this sure is a bit of a dilemma. If we don't move, then DISASTER but if we do we might get killed? Huh... I'll just stand over here while you guys figure this- Crap. Uh, I guess we should wait and see then? Since it might be a trap and all and getting ourselves killed is kinda-sorta the last thing we want to do. And the resident beefhead rushes in anyway. Who the hell honestly thought going ahead with an inexperienced, teen-lead midnight patrol group was a good idea anyway? What the heck have I even gotten myself into with this? Man, muscleheads? Hate 'em. |

And just when things couldn't get worse, those Shadows ambush us anyway. Jerks. Nothing a good zapping from Omoikane can't deal with though. U PERSONA: GOOD. Looks like we've got no choice, then. But then, did we ever really have a choice to begin with? A few cars up? That's not too bad; we should be able to reach him in no- Nevermind, looks like it's Battle- ... You know, if these guys weren't being such dicks right now I could almost admire then for their audactity. Their sense of timing is downright impeccable. Papillon left me a few notes on these guys, so let's skim through it a bit. *ahem* Quote:
After the grind the last few floors of Tartarus were, it's a bit shocking how easy all of this stuff is. Anyway, better catch up to Junpei before we find him boarding the soul train. |

Gee, why am I not surprised. To be fair though, he's actually doing pretty well. Not anyone can conjure up some cartoony clouds of dust when they fight, after all. As annoying as the last half-hour's been, you have to admit Junpei works well when the heat is on. Things are starting to get fired up in here. Oh right, I'm supposed to be angry at Junpei right now. WAY TO GO IDYOT. That… doesn't sound good. Oh dear, that doesn't sound good at all. It's time to pose as a team 'cause shit just got real, yo. For once, Junpei, I believe we're in agreement. |

Don't ease your pace, 'cause the enemy's brutal The moment truth, there ain't no truce You're the only one. One world, one love But the battle goes on - Shadow of Mass Destruction. Ooh yeah- Wait, oh no We're on a speeding train that's going to collide with another train any second now. What the hell do you think, Mitsuru? That… seems to be the case. I, uh… I think I'm at a loss, here. But nevermind that, we're on a deadline here so let's wrap this one up. Boss battle time! Music - Master of Shadow Jeezus, that "come hither" look she has is freaking me out. It's like something out of a bad hentai comic. ...Not that I would know anything about that. Also, having "B J" written on her chest is about as subtle as a hammer, guys. What the hell. So, here's what we know about the first boss. She repels Ice and is immune to Light and Dark attacks, so odds are she'll be focusing on hitting us with Bufu spells this entire battle and getting in a cheap win is out of the question (even though we technically couldn't even pull it off right now anyway). In addition to that, Junpei and Yukari aren't exactly the brightest bulbs of the bunch, so we'll pretty much have to baby them this entire battle. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to bring our ace in the hole to the fight. Forneus here can boost our attack to make up for the limited time, and can Bash away at Priestess for damage on the side. He also resists ice, so, barring an unlucky hit, damage shouldn't be too much of an issue. I have to hand it to Junpei, he knows how to swing a Katana really hard. Shame his form's awful, though. |

Oh joy, it looks like Priestess can summon minions to drag things out here. At least they're weak against Ice, so our buddy Forneus can chain them for easy knockdowns - matter of fact, that's probably our best bet for the fight right now! Well, uh, that went badly. Current status: We're pretty much screwed. Damage is starting to pile up, the clock's counting down and we've barely dented the boss so far. It's been fun, guys. :/ Wait, no, hold that thought. Luck's on our side tonight, baby, and a critical hit and lucky poison from the sword in my hand brings us back in the game. Never thought I'd be saying this, but thank God for deadly poison. Sorry to jet, but I'm in a hurry. That's the million dollar question, Junpei. Now watch as we slow to a gentle stop and rake in the glory as we save the day. Wait, what |

N-no, hit the brakes! I can't stop this thiiing- . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Gotcha. Yep. It's not like we were in any real danger - the other train was still just a minute away. Well, these two babies could use a hand, I guess. Man, it's like they've never been in a major life-threatening situation before. Roger, I'm heading back to Corneria Iwatodai. Anyway, enough of this craziness. I'm ready to pass out from exhaustion and could use a bite to eat. You coming, Takeba? But not before we take this relationship to the next level. Aw yeah. |

Oh hey, looks like we learned a new tactic after our every strategy pretty much fell apart today. In the spirit of today's theme of screwing up, this one isn't even helpful at all! Well, aside from the seats Junpei cut up with his katana. …Aaand the person Yukari accidentally shot with her bow. And all the damage done to the front of the car by the shadows, not to mention all the fires and blown open doors from various persona use and… Let's just mark it down as collateral and leave it at that. Zif Bang Boom! Shadow creatures take over the last train? These ain't your daddy's bedtime monsters! You're just bitter because you didn't get to beat any of them up. Huh? What? What's with all this cryptic nonsense? Sheesh, sometimes it's a pain watching old security videos instead of getting information first-hand. Oh my, is fearless leader showing a moment of weakness? Hmm... Uh… |

!!! You're not serious. Goddamn. I should really give Ikutsuki some more credit. Anyway, guess I should gather my thoughts for the night and head to sleep. It's been fun, guys! Hopefully PR will give me the chance to step on my soapbox more often. Next time: Shadow Madness! Also, a well-timed fusion that breaks the game wide open. Stay tuned~ |

In the middle of battle? Try in the middle of conversations. Guy can switch personalities to sweet-talk people into fulfilling his own nefarious ends!
It really is special! It doesn't run on gas and electricity. It runs on the souls of Mitsuru fanboys that toss themselves happily in front of it. Man, is it me, or does the Moon look HUGE in those pics, like it's gonna crash into Tartarus? Incidentally, it's nice to acknowledge Tartarus itself while going out to fight in the city. It'd be interesting to know how far away the Shadows spread from it during the Dark Hour, see if there are other places getting attacked at the same time. Quote:
