I wasn't actually being snarky. I guess I meant a no-finish S-Link run because I'm kind of curious to see what happens in the end if you haven't completed any S-Link other than the required storyline ones. My guess is nothing special, but I still think it's funny.

I was actually going to see if you can reach the bad ending on a fresh file without ever going to Tartarus (aside from the first day since you can't not go) but it was after I had already burned out on the game and I didn't even get to the second full moon.

I was playing on Easy of course, since it'd be even more stupidly hard without abusing the continue items. Also, Mitsuru makes you go on 4/31 if you haven't gone since the first trip, but all you have to do is find a green teleporter to take back.

Wait, TODAY's the day isn't it? Crap, I'd forgotten.

I was going to start my own play through but realized my copy of FES is hundreds of miles away in another state.

Post I have a copy of this game...

unopened... and Non-FESed. What's the difference? I was going to sell it should I not?

Pro: I'm not gonna get around to it soon anyway, with stuff like Valkyria ahead of it in my backlog and it being so damn long. Plus I've already read quite a few spoilers in other TT threads.
Con: I probably spend way too much time reading LPs anyway.

Argh.
I am so ready to be spoiled. I'm like milk that's just a couple days past the do not sell by date. Like you smell it and its kinda iffy and you're not sure, so you pour just a little in a glass and take a tiny sip and you're like, its not too bad, and it'd suck to throw out 1/4 gallon. Yeah, I'm so there...

But serriously, I feel the same way as Kirin.

Keep it, open it, and play it for a bit first. If you don't like it, THEN sell it.

EDIT: Oh, you mean differences between versions? I'll go over it a bit more over the course of the LP, but here's a general list:

*A whole bunch more personas to use, as well as some rebalancing for the older ones;
*The ability to fuse weapons and acquire alternate costumes for the PCs;
*One extra S. Link;
*A lot more sidequests to complete with a lot of bonuses to go with them;
*The addition of extra scenes and skits into the game;
*A small sequel that fills in the blanks and adds to the ending of the main game;
*And some other things I can't quite remember right now.

The most important of the additions is probably proper endings for your social links.

As for what S-Links you should do for this playthrough, a proper playthrough requires you to get with ALL the ladies.

Putting in another vote for Empress and Hermit.

Call the main character Marcel Marceau.

Hey, you can blame Mazian for that since he anti-voted for him. :/

Unless anti-votes are a no-no? What's the general opinion on them, anyway? Decide for me, Talking Time!

I'm going to have to vote for Hierophant! Bunkichi and Mitsuko are awesome, and my MC* thought of them as the grandparents he never had. It's not right for them to be left out in the cold like that

Kohryu is also one of the best Personas out there, especially if you can get all four elements on him.

* Another vote for using "MC" or a variation thereof (Emcee?) as MC's name. But only if you have it mean "Master of Ceremonies" instead of "Main Character."

Well, then grab a Sharpie and draw glasses on Mitsuru whenever she's on-screen. I'm sure her fangirl/stalker would appreciate it.
