Avoid all social links, spend all of your time in the dorm room using the computer. I want to see an accurate shut-in simulator!

I don't get you at all. Kenji is amazing.

And fine, we don't have to name it after you. I thought it would be appropriate but oh well.

If we don't name him after Nich, we should name him Fancy Mortimer.

Wow, at this rate Kenji will have negative votes once the poll wraps up. You guys really don't like him, huh?

BTW I vote Priestess, Hermit & Devil. At least, I would if I had any say in this.

I assumed Devil and Tower would be in automatically, considering their out-of-the-way scheduling, and didn't need any votes.

Perhaps the total lack of broad support for any one name is the merciful break you need. No consensus means author discretion!

That's true! However, a few votes here and there would be nice anyway - knowing how popular the two S. Links are would give me a better idea as to how I'll break up the night parts of the game, instead of me winging it and focusing mostly on dog-walking, Tartarus, etc.

Oh my. Hmm... I'm still waiting out for the next ○✗∆□☆ personally, but having a choice would be nice, admittedly enough. We'll see, though.

I'm not going to vote for anything. I just want to say that I'm looking forward to this LP. The whole reason I recently joined this forum is so that I could participate in these LPs that I've been reading as a guest for a while now.

I don't actually get a lot of time to play games, so LPs are a fun way to experience games for me. Persona 3, as time consuming as it is, I would never get through, though I've considered trying more than once.

So thanks for playing, PapillonReel.

What's with all the Kenji hate? You have to admit that he's one of the more unique faces in the game, and you get a really great Persona for maxing out his S.Link. What's not to love?

Also, he's hilarious and awesome.

What's so damn creepy about having a crush on a teacher? He's a weird kid but I like him.

Kenji is weird, one dimensional and probably the most boring character in hte game and I loved him.

For me it's not so much the creepiness (because at first I kinda thought it was neat), but the delusional stupidity that put me off. The rank 9 event really puts into perspective how deluded he really was. I didn't bother finishing the link after that.

Had the teacher really been interested in him on the other hand... then I probably would've put in a vote for it.

... this makes me want to change my vote. I shall edit my first post to reflect this change.

Kenji was a dude I'd hang with. Seriously - who do you know that isn't a bit deluded?

What I'm going to say may invalidate the worth of the previous statement, but I demand gigolo play.

I vote for Hermit, because while I never completed P3, it was the only social link I managed to finish. I guess I would vote for Strength and Justice too, since they were the other ones I was focusing on, and maybe the ones that are related to them (Chariot & Strength are both on the Sports Team, and Emperor & Justice are both on the Student Council).

As for a name, I kinda like Mortimer too. Maybe Morty McDeath? Morty Muerte?

This was a possibility that demanded investigation. However, P3's non-alphanumerics don't permit quite so much mischief:

Oh, it's easy: if the dog wants a walk, the dog gets a walk. No ifs, ands, or buts. The dog gets what the dog demands. At least, that's how it was in my playthrough (I used to check with him before Fuuka. Hmm, that would explain why Priestess Reversed on me.) Tower is only available, what, Thu-Sat, I think? Taking Sundays out of the equation, a Devil visit per week would still leave plenty of time for Tartarus.

But in the LP feel free to just call him by his initials, (./.

Or MC.

Also: One of the S.Links is a dog? I really should play more of this game.

Ah, I somehow glazed over "on it" which would have made it make sense. Even though he really doesn't.

Man, I am so conflicted as to whether or not to follow along with this LP.

Pro: I love LPs.
Con: I have the game on my shelf and have never played it. One might argue I should play it beforte spoiling it.
Pro: I'm not gonna get around to it soon anyway, with stuff like Valkyria ahead of it in my backlog and it being so damn long. Plus I've already read quite a few spoilers in other TT threads.
Con: I probably spend way too much time reading LPs anyway.

Argh.

Anyway, I vote for Hermit because it seems appropriate for a message board. Also, I approve of MC Escher.

I also put in a vote for Kenji because I love Kenji, and I won't stand for this kind of vicious character assassination.

(This makes my total votes: No all S-Link run
Yes for Tower
Yes for Kenji)
