I am ever so grateful for the "Tend Garden" command. If you click on one plant that needs care, you can choose to Tend Garden from there, and the enterprising gardener will then water, weed, and harvest every plant on the lot that needs any of those things. M'dair's good friend Jolina is hungry for some weiner. M'dair slips her some hot sausage. And hey, while we're here, might as well flex the Charisma skill and talk to her for a while... Yeah, that's the stuff. |

Fiendish! Somewhat less fiendish! ...but easily achieved. Pumped is a moodlet that an Athletic Sim can get by working out. It's a positive mood modifier, and makes the Athletics skill develop faster for as long as the mood and the workout last. Oddly Powerful is the result of the Opportunity being completed, and despite the description, only affects mood. Meanwhile, Lady Vixen and Sir Not Appearing In This Film earn promotions at work. Madhair60 I'm not going to turn this into a romantic relationship unless you give me the go-ahead, but dude. |

Beat gets an opportunity in the middle of the night. Could they not have called when he was awake, like at noon? Which isn't to say he doesn't get another Opportunity once he's already up. Three or four people had a Wish to buy something new worth such-and-such an amount, so I did: a burglar alarm. Because things might go awry when Trar isn't home. And Beat and Wild aren't home. And... well, it's convenient anyway, because it automatically calls the cops on any robber who enters the house, and once the thief is arrested, the cop returns anything he stole. Beat purchases the game's first Lifetime Reward, then starts letting his work performace slip. Judging from all those green arrows, nobody cares. In fact, he gets a promotion at the end of the day. |

After dinner, Trar heads off to some rich dude's house to convince him that Young-Earth Creationism doesn't make any sense. Vixen is up late into the night, having developed her own Handiness skill enough to upgrade objects. Wild has gotten a few bathroom implements done, so Vixen works in the kitchen. That's three days of progress, so I'm gonna wrap it up. Beat: LAPs 4143, Professional Slacker Wishes: Hang Out With Wild +325, Steal Candy from a Baby +600, Meet Someone New +325 Skills: Logic 1, Athletics 4 Opportunities: Wallets up for Grabs (read the book given before next shift); Add It Up (Gain a level in Athletics) Wild Kin: LAPs 10,735 Wishes: Upgrade 5 Objects +1000, Work Out for 6 Hours Straight +900, Train Someone +400 Skills: Athletics 6, Handiness 4 Madhair: LAPS 8128 Wishes: Reach level 6 in Painting +1000, Paint Something Worth $150 +250, Improve Cooking Skill +900 Skills: Painting 4, Charisma 3, Cooking 3 Trar: LAPs 11,289 Wishes: Reach Level 5 of Law Enforcement Career +1000, Improve Painting Skill +750, Earn a Promotion +1000 Skills: Logic 4, Painting 2 Vixen: LAPs 8017 Wishes: Buy Something Worth At Least $250, Upgrade 5 Objects +1000, Improve Handiness SKill +1000, Reach level 4 of Gardening +1000 Skills: Fishing 1, Gardening 3, Handiness 4 Cash on hand: $6725 Lot Value: $21,537 |

Meanwhile, in an alternate dimension...
Almost everyone has the LAPs for (another) Lifetime Reward, so if there's any on the list that I linked earlier that appeal to you, let me know and I'll buy it as soon as you can afford it. You guys also have a lot more cash on hand than the Brontos do, so let me know if there's anything around the house you want to replace with an upgraded model. Or anything new you want to buy. Or if you just want to improve the decor in general, funneling cash on hand directly into the lot value. You know, whatever works for you. |

Oh, and if you need to check one of the lists of in-game terms or options, I linked to the Tumblr page with all of that stuff from the Table of Contents post. So if you need to look something up, you don't have to scour this thread for a link to it; it's second from the top.

What would your recommendation be between these two (and I know I need to save up a bit for these):

Considering your Lifetime Wish is to get to the top of your career path, Multi-Tasker kind of pays for itself. Opportunities pop up at random and don't always give LAPs for completing them, so I'd want something a little more reliable than that.
Caveat: Once you reach the top of your career, Multi-Tasker doesn't do anything else, and you can't get the points back to reinvest in something else. |

Sounds like Multitasker is still well worth it. I'll do that once I have enough!

I'm really sad that nobody actually made a thread in the Pit about Vixen's bike getting stolen.

This is great, and I am glad you are doing it.
I am not glad that madhair has not weighed in on his romantic options. Come on, she's totally hot for your balding body! |

I'll take Steel Bladder. I need to be augmented.
We must also upgrade our appliances and utilities, and construct a pylon as well, preferably in the center of the house. |

When I can afford it I'd like to purchase "ATTRACTIVE" because I'm just 2 hott.

As soon as he's up, in the middle of the afternoon, Wild's fingers start to itch. I figure there won't be anyone around at the art museum late at night, and he can probably make a getaway before any security systems stop him... but Wild's mostly just baffled by the art displays and doesn't even consider swiping one. Wild goes home to shout encouragement at Beat while Beat runs on the treadmill instead. It was a different wish for Wild to train someone into developing athletics, and Beat still needs his Athletics up to do well at work, so it all dovetails nicely. Well, mostly nicely. |

Vixen gets a hankerin' to buy something expensive, so she gets a new, more comfortable bed. No more waking up with a sore back! Even though it's Vixen's day off from work, the garden still needs care. Which is good, because Vixen's Gardening skill could use some development too. And even though it's her day off, there's work to be done. Vixen's off to do some "maintenance" on the city's jail, which in no way whatsoever is designed for the eventuality of her housemates ending up there for some mysterious reason and needing to escape. She even gets to ride her own bicycle down to the station. |

A random event at work destroy's Wild's relationship with his boss. And that's a problem! Not a problem that prevents him from getting this promotion, but being on the boss's good side is a requirement of some future promotions... So Wild heads over to Ayesha's house to make amends. She wants none of it. Ouch. There's no pleasing her, so Wild may just have to resort to sycophancy next time he's at work. |

These two events have nothing to do with one another, but they happened. In celebration of her bonus, Vixen goes home to play some computer games and explodes the computer instead. It's cool, though, she knows how to fix it. Beat Skeleton is still trapped in a prison of flesh and skin, and remains jealous of those who have shed corporeal form. He works late as part of his job as a thug, making a visit to the graveyard tricky. But it pays off! Beat isn't yet to the point where he has to suck up to the boss, but at this level the relationship he has with his coworkers is an issue for further promotion. |

Wild tries sneaking into someone's house to steal their stuff, but is quickly spotted and must flee. Not to be outdone, Vixen explodes the dishwasher too. |

Hey, it's Vixen's first harvest! The tomatoes and apples are ripe and ready for picking. Vixen stashes a few in the fridge for M'dair to make apple pancakes and pasta carbonara out of, then plants the rest to approximately triple the size of the garden. Speaking of M'dair, c'mon man even the game itself is shipping you now. Waitin' on your go-ahead. Trar has been notably absent for most of this update, since he's been reading books and looking through the telescope to practice his Logic skill. But now he's discovered a brand-new comet, and gets a cash reward for his trouble. Not long after, he spots a meteorite fall nearby. Vixen's already working on a collection notebook, so she goes to get it. |

Even if M'dair and Jamie are only friends, he's still ready to paint if she's ready to pay him for it. M'dair is off to make the delivery on... erm, Vixen's bike. Jamie is having a party or something, but M'dair quickly excuses himself and goes home for a cold shower. kekekeke And that's two days done, ignoring that Wild and Beat are nocturnal now and are still up. |

It's up to tyrant house, but I'd suggest expanding the kitchen so Madhair has some more room to cook and putting in a space for a proper dining room. Get that table out of the bedroom.
