Looks like you got hit by some SMP lag, which sucks being that you're all local. One of the downsides of SSP being just a special version of SMP.

Guess we should all be more paranoid above lava.

Oh, and a quick warning. If water shoves you back into a corner you'll start taking damage, I think it's glitching you into the wall or something.
