If you want to watch it now, it starts at 4:52:00 in this VOD.Aw man. I missed the Mega Man X 100% race! When do the vids go up on YouTube usually?
I watched the end of the NES block. The Gimmick! run was fun. Amagon’s such a bad game, but everyone’s got nostalgia for something.I definitely want to see the NES block. Zoda's Revenge, Gimmick!, and Batman in particular. I also saw Ristar in there, and I'll probably watch all of the Castlevania block.
I'm actually surprised how often that game comes up on some folks' lists. I don't get the love, but I'm sure there are games I still like that aren't great, either.I watched the end of the NES block. The Gimmick! run was fun. Amagon’s such a bad game, but everyone’s got nostalgia for something.
This was really fun.The Kirby Super Star Any% was very informative
Shadow of the Colossus just finished up, and that one really had the qualities that make speedruns really watchable: it basically just looks like extremely skilled casual play with a handful of mindblowing and really legible skips.
The "Talkatoo%" category Super Mario Odyssey speedrun was impressively played and well-commentated, and it's a really fun, randomizer-like format to boot. The Talkatoo character who shows up in most worlds will name three uncollected but accessible moons at random, and the player may only collect moons that have been so named or that are part of the main storyline.
Wait. Do you mean the NES game!?Pacifist Ninja Gaiden is never not impressive.
I didn't catch the run until halfway through, but what was happening was so bewildering that I just had to keep watching in spite of the game being as ugly as sin. This makes me curious, because I love Cave Story, but CS3D is so eye-searingly ugly that I’m almost afraid to watch.
Affirmative, I just watched it. Absolutely mortifying the entire way through - and also amazing.Wait. Do you mean the NES game!?
Maimai was incredible to the point I felt panicked by what I was seeing. How is that even physically possible?
