What’s stuck in your head right now?

There’s an episode of the 90s kids TV show Ah! Real Monsters! where the characters adopt a dog named Fungus, and from somewhere deep in my memories this song has swum up:

Ickus and Fungus
Don’t call him Pustule
Something something something
Monsters and dogs rule

I hated Ren and Stimpy and don't think I ever watched a full episode, but about once every two months the Log song gets stuck in my head.

My brain is trying to mash those two different songs together.

...

Is there something wrong with me?

Please, think very carefully before listening to the following commercial. You may not...you may not come back.

Why in the literal fuck Kreashawn's 2011 "Gucci Gucci" is so firmly lodged in there I'll never know.

Ever since my wife mentioned that we should pick up more honey while we were making a grocery list together, I've had Mogwai's "Honey" in my head.

PLEASE someone listen to this so I can banish the earworm by transferring it to you

it won't leave me alone, please, my family is starving

This song has been periodically playing in my head for almost a couple of decades by now

The Wii shop song gets in my head easily, and this cello version I heard today has brought it back

If I'm ever in charge of hold music for something for some reason I'm putting this on.

I named a Pikmin in Bloom that had an L on its forehead and now that dang song‘s been in my head for days.

I’m replaying Disco Elysium. In the music that plays in the Whirling-in-Rags hostel, there’s this one chord progression that really sounds like the chorus of The Stranglers’ 1986 song “Always the Sun,” so that one’s been in my head.
