Well hey! Sounds like you've been busy. I also have a new dog. If you weren't here for it (right at the end of the last forum), both of the older ones have passed (one very recently).
 
Along with a number of other transitions since then, I think? This forum has what seems to me an exceptional transition rate over time!

Yeah, some people say these new hoops you have to jump through to be on the new forums are a bit much, but here we all are, managing that checklist... actually I guess I'm behind on writing a book.

Hi guys! I was on the backlog of account approvals so it's been years since I could post after the site melted down in a prior iteration, but glad to be here. :)
 
I was just digging through an old hard drive with dumb forum memes and remembered this place exists so I thought I'd drop in and say hello.

We made a lot of fun photoshops and dumb memes back in ye olden dayes. But look at how terrible my gifs were, I have to put this thing behind a spoiler tag because of the flashing lights.

Hullo, I seem to be back 😅
never really stopped lurking but I lost my 2FA in an older phone (2 phones ago, 4 years, yikes) and had completely forgotten about the backup codes.
Since I'm more of a lurker than a poster I kind of postponed recovery until, well, today that I thought I'd look into this.
