I was on the fence about Tom Holland as Nathan Drake at first, but he's sold me in the trailer, and the actress for Chloe is top notch. But Marky Mark as Sully? I mean, he was great in The Departed but here, here he is... I mean... he doesn't even have the 'stache!


That said, it still looks awesome.

I feel like the casting and what we've seen from this trailer, they're very much positioning this to be a Nathan Drake origin story. And picking younger actors so that if this blows up they can milk it for the decade decade or two with largely the same cast.

Probably. They also understood that the biggest wow factor would be Uncharted 3's most iconic bit, so I assume flooded cruise ship is waiting in the wings for the second movie.

Weird that they used Ramble On, a song that is explicitly about Lord of the Rings, for the trailer.
