10. What spiritual and religious practice allowed the practitioner to interact with the spirit world through an altered state? The intended answer was shamanism. Several people said "séance" and I thought that might not entirely fit with the question but I guess it does. It's popularity rose literally through a religion called "Spiritualism". So I'm going to accept that, too.

I think I might have cheated on one. On the Isla Fisher question, I googled Chris Hemsworth because I knew he was on an Australian soap and guessed it would be the same one. Turns out it was, but googling at all was probably not cool.

You heard the lady, get to work!

Thanks so much for taking part and I'll start the next game nowish.

Violentvixen

(She/Her)
I'm glad I got the Stardew Valley one! My spouse apparently hadn't used the sewing machine at all in the game despite playing it for 100+ hours and was baffled when I mentioned it.

I'm actually playing Stardew right now (one Red Cabbage left to finish the Center!), so while I didn't know a lot about crafting clothes, Omnigeode was a pretty big giveaway for me.

My partner got the Stardew one, also from the omnigeode.

This was just a really good set for me! Most of the automation questions are literally about my job, and a lot of the others randomly hit things I know about. The only category that was a complete wash was Isla Fisher.

Violentvixen

(She/Her)
Ha, yeah, I tried to use that as a point for it, but he kept insisting there must be another game that uses omnigeode since he was sure he'd have seen the cloth stuff after playing so much.

I invoked our golden trivia rule though: don't argue the answer based on how sure you are that it's right, argue it based on how mad you'll be if it turns out you were right and your answer was shot down. I made it clear I would be real pissed.

The other good rule that could fall under is "don't discard your first guess if you don't have a clearly better one".
