Correct!
1) Features two playable characters
Darius and Sharlene; the former is on the front of the box art, and on the cover of the soundtrack
2) Surprisingly effective weapons
Darius can use a globe as a weapon, and Sharlene gets a frying pan. Both of them are actually pretty useful
3) This game is pretty janky
It's a 3D action-RPG in an era before developers had figured out how to do lock-on systems. There are also bottomless pits in a game without a jump button!
4) "Wait, why am I not hurting this enemy?"
Every enemy, weapon, and piece of equipment has an elemental affinity to it. If your weapon's affinity is mismatched with an enemy you might suddenly find yourself doing single-digit damage
5) Mandatory equipment customization
You can pay a small fee at the shop to change the color of your weapons and armor. This is actually required for a couple puzzles
6) Has a well-hidden secret level that's a callback to one of the developer's previous games
If you find an item called a Dark Guide Post - a rare item only dropped by certain enemies in one area of the game for either Darius or Sharlene - and use it at a save point, you're transported to the Shadow Tower, a shoutout to
the PS1 dungeon crawler of the same name.
7) "What on earth am I listening to right now??"
The soundtrack is...
unique. I actually love it, but I doubt most people would feel the same
8) Your stats are entirely dependent on the equipment you use
9) You have to beat the game with both characters to fully complete the story
10) You can switch between them at any save point, which is also how you access the shop
11) This game was a launch title for the PS2 in North America
These are all self-explanatory.
You're up, Ixo!
