My buddy Rewind Mike hipped me to this. It's an indie game currently in development that's the game I wish Simon's Quest actually was. The movement feels a lot better (including a Richter-esque slide and the ability to hang on walls, plus swing from certain items with your whip), and the day/night cycle is less jarring, but it's a lot of fun so far.
