It's currently 60 degrees in SLC, so even though the weather is supposed to rocket back up to the 90s by the end of the weekend it feels like Spooky Season is already upon us. Last year I put together a playlist of spooky music for some friends, texting them a song a day and adding the songs to a YouTube playlist as I did so. My goal was to share songs that I find genuinely spooky and/or unsettling, and to (mostly) avoid the same ten, schlocky songs that seem to dominate most Halloween playlists. Talking-Time even introduced me to some of the songs that I included. Anyway, the playlist is below (I guess you can't embed a playlist, so the link is below).
