Can anyone recommend some good speakers for gaming? For some reason, my gaming computer and TV have a finicky relationship with each other in terms of sound for triple A games and I think new speakers are the solution.

Is it possible that the AAA games you're playing think you have a surround sound system? If so, they're probably sending all the dialog to a nonexistent center channel. It's happened to me a couple of times on my TV and it's really weird, because you can clearly hear what's going on, but the dialog is all way too quiet.

Seconding this -- make sure you check the audio settings in your games, sometimes they default to a setup that you don't have and you have to manually set it to TV speakers.

did i do all of that?

Someone gave me a NES that needed a cleaning and a new 72 pin connecter, which I've got and it's working now (I have two NESs now, so mayyyybe I could try to do the RGB mod on this one? If I screw up removing the PPU and stuff, I still have a working NES. Probably shouldn't...), but it's also missing the little black plastic piece that holds the controller ports in place, circled on this stock image of an NES:

To be clear, I have working controller ports, but they're just hanging there. Does anyone know what that piece is called, or where I could purchase a replacement? 3D printing is fine, too, I don't care, I just don't want the controller ports to be hanging out lol
