It always amused me how much TT and Smogon look the exact same. They must have had some common ancestor.


Anyways, I know SV OU is a chaotic mess right now, but I find Ubers (the highest tier) to be very stable. The games are quick and fast paced, and there isn't too much focus on spikes.

Teambuilding is hard, so most of my Showdown has been random battles. I wrote a CC1v1 bot once. I also won a small competition one time, and that did involve teambuilding. I forget the exact format, but I think it was mixed-tier gen 8.

Anyway, Showdown is great.

Nice! Random battles are a lot of fun, but teambuilding offers lots of depth to the matches in terms of prediction and stuff
