She was basically perfect in the roles I’ve seen her in, namely Arrested Development and Archer. 80 years is not bad at all, yet she will still be missed by many, present company included.

I don't really have anything of substance to add, but Jessica Walter was incredible. We're lucky to have the huge body of work she left behind.

Jessica Walter was amazing and the shows she was in were richer for her. Also, apparently she was the star of a short lived Ironside spin-off.

The only video I can find focuses on Shatner but she played the first female police chief in San Francisco.

The earliest thing I've seen her in is Play Misty for Me, where she plays a woman who sleeps with a radio DJ played by Clint Eastwood and then starts stalking him and ruining his life after he loses interest. By the end it's basically a horror movie where Jessica is the monster and Clint is the victim. It's pretty odd.

I'll definitely remember her for Arrested Development, though. And Archer, where she played the same character if she owned a spy agency.

I don't know how well Play Misty for Me would play for audiences today, but she's certainly terrific in it, and everything I've seen her in. RIP.

I'm curious to watch the CBS TV Movie adaptation of Doctor Strange she was in back in 1978.
