Outside of Capcom's announcements and fucking Sephiroth, The Initiative's take on Rare's seminal N64 FPS Perfect Dark was my shock of the evening. I LOVE OG Perfect Dark and, if this goes well, might actually convince me to consider a Series something down the road. The trailer is mostly set dressing but I'm excited!

I really hope they nail this. Perfect Dark is one of my top ten favourite games but Perfect Dark Zero didn't even get the basic feel of it right. I hope it sticks to its strengths, and has multiple changing objectives and crazy weapons.

I suck at FPS, but I did enjoy what little I played of the original on Rare Replay. That said, this announcement did bring a bit of a smile to my face.
